Acceptance of Terms

My Backyard Rentals is an online marketplace that allows Hosts to list outdoor spaces such as backyards, pools, patios, or event areas for short-term rental. Guests may browse listings and request bookings through the platform. 

User Accounts 

Users may be required to create an account to book or list properties. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. 

Host Responsibilities 

Hosts are responsible for ensuring their property listings are accurate and safe. Hosts must comply with all local laws, HOA regulations, zoning requirements, and safety standards applicable to their property.

Hosts are responsible for maintaining insurance coverage and ensuring their property is suitable for guest use. 

Guest Responsibilities 

Guests agree to respect host property, follow all property rules, and leave the space in the same condition it was found. Guests are responsible for any damage caused by themselves or members of their party. 

Bookings and Payments 

Bookings may require payment processing through third-party payment providers. By submitting a booking, you agree to pay all applicable fees. Refunds and cancellations may be subject to host policies and platform rules. 

Prohibited Activities 

Users may not use the platform for illegal activities, unauthorized parties, unsafe behavior, or any activity that may cause damage or harm to hosts, guests, or the platform. 

Liability Disclaimer 

My Backyard Rentals provides a platform connecting hosts and guests but does not own or control the listed properties. We are not responsible for property conditions, injuries, damages, or disputes between users. 

Termination 

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Service or pose risk to other users or the platform. 

Changes to Terms 

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
